You must pass with at least 10 minor faults to pass the Module 1 test. In both modules you will have to complete a number of exercises such as right and left circles on the road, and figure-eights. You will also have to execute an u-turn that is controlled. The driver must be over 21 years old and be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive a car and a motorcycle.

Upgrade to A2

There are other limitations such as, for instance you must hold an A2 licence for at least two years in order to be eligible for the upgrade. This is substantially less than the total cost of getting an A1 licence, which includes the cost of the CBT, theory and practical tests.
